Hi, I’m Serge, a headshot and portrait photographer working across New York City and New Jersey.

Photography has changed. Years ago, a professional portrait was something you updated every five or ten years. Today, your image appears everywhere – LinkedIn, company websites, press features, speaking engagements, internal directories, casting submissions. Often, your photo is seen before your voice is heard.

That first impression matters.

But here’s what I’ve learned after photographing thousands of people, most people don’t love being in front of a camera. And that’s completely normal.

My job isn’t just to take a technically good photo. It’s to make you feel comfortable enough that your real expression shows up. The moment when you stop “posing” and start looking like yourself,  that’s the frame we’re after.

I work with executives, corporate teams, entrepreneurs, actors, and professionals at every stage of their careers. Some need polished corporate consistency. Others need presence and authority. Some need authenticity and warmth. The approach changes depending on who you are and what the image needs to communicate.

What doesn’t change is the standard.

Clean lighting. Natural expression. Thoughtful direction. No over-retouching. No heavy filters. No artificial look that won’t feel like you six months from now.

I believe a strong headshot should feel like you on your best, most confident day. Approachable, grounded, professional, without trying too hard.
